Privacy Policy
As of: October 13, 2026
BoomJump is a game without an account, without ads and without tracking. The provider runs no server: your progress and settings stay on your device. The provider collects no personal data from you. The exceptions are the Game Center leaderboard (section 4), the optional beta test via TestFlight (section 7) and emails you send him yourself.

2. Principle: everything stays on your device
BoomJump stores your data exclusively on your device. There is no user account, no sign-in and no provider server holding any data about you. The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools and no third-party components for such purposes. Its privacy manifest states accordingly that no tracking takes place and that no data types are collected.
3. What is stored on your device
In your device's app settings, BoomJump stores:
• your progress: coins (including those of an interrupted run), purchased upgrades and characters, your permanent purchases (coin doubler, packs), best scores per difficulty level and the counters and unlocked achievements;
• your settings: controls, sound, volume and vibration, weather effects, chosen difficulty, character, world theme and language, and whether the hints for "Hard" have been shown;
• the transaction identifiers of your coin purchases and their refunds, so that no transaction is booked twice.
None of this leaves your device through the provider. Deleting the app removes it. If you back up your device via iCloud or the Finder, it is part of that backup; you control this in your device settings.
4. Game Center (optional)
If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, the app submits your best score to the leaderboard and reports the progress of your achievements. The recipient is Apple; Apple's privacy policy applies. According to Apple, your Game Center nickname and your scores are visible to all Game Center users. In App Store Connect, Apple's portal for developers, the provider sees the top 100 scores of each leaderboard with the player's name. There he can remove individual scores or block a player; that player's scores then disappear from the leaderboard, and new ones are no longer accepted. He does this only in case of abuse, such as obviously manipulated scores, or at your request. The app itself does not read your nickname or your Game Center profile and sends nothing to the provider. Without Game Center the game works fully, only without the leaderboard.
5. In-app purchases
Coin packs, the coin doubler, the starter pack and the theme packs are handled by Apple (StoreKit). You provide payment details to Apple; the provider never sees them. The app only remembers which purchases are complete or refunded in order to credit them to you or take the refund of a permanent purchase into account. If Apple refunds a permanent purchase, it no longer counts as purchased. Purchased coins are stored like the rest of your progress on your device only and are lost when the app is deleted; the coin doubler, starter pack and theme packs can be unlocked again via "Restore purchases".
6. Motion sensor
If you choose the "Tilt" control, the app reads your device's orientation while you play (CoreMotion). On the "Hard" difficulty you always steer by tilting, whichever control you have chosen. If the app detects that Switch Control or AssistiveTouch is turned on, or your device has no motion sensor, you steer with your finger there; the settings show which control applies. The tilt readings serve only to control the game; they are neither stored nor transmitted. On "Easy" and "Normal" with the "Swipe" control, and whenever the settings show finger control on "Hard", the app does not use the sensor.
7. Beta testing via TestFlight (optional)
If you use a test version of BoomJump via Apple's TestFlight app, the following also applies: according to Apple, it collects crash logs and usage information and shares them with the provider, including your device model and a device identifier, OS version, device language, installed version and the number of installs, sessions and crashes. If you send feedback through TestFlight, the provider also receives your comment, any screenshot you attach and technical details such as battery level, carrier, time zone, connection type and free disk space.
According to Apple, it also collects your name and email address. If you join via the public link, however, the provider does not see them and you appear in his tester list without a name or email address (as anonymous). Only if you choose to enter your email address when sending feedback will the provider see it, for that piece of feedback only.
The provider uses this data solely to find bugs and improve the game and does not pass it on. He keeps it only as long as he needs it for that: he deletes feedback and downloaded crash reports once the reported bug is fixed. According to Apple, feedback is kept for one year, and Apple may retain crash logs and usage data until the bugs are fixed; you can view and manage your data held by Apple at privacy.apple.com. Apple is responsible for TestFlight itself; Apple's TestFlight privacy information applies. Emails to the provider do not go through TestFlight; they are covered by the website's privacy policy (in German).
According to Apple, this collection cannot be switched off while you are testing. You may object to the processing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR); the simplest way is to leave the beta on the app's page in TestFlight via "Stop Testing". The provider deletes feedback you have already sent on request (section 10).
8. What BoomJump does not process
The app itself processes no contact details, no name, no email address and no location, and has no access to camera, microphone, photos or contacts. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.
9. Legal bases
Storing your progress locally is necessary for the game to serve its purpose (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Game Center and in-app purchases are used at your choice; processing by Apple is Apple's responsibility. The provider views and cleans up the top scores of the leaderboard on the basis of his legitimate interest in a fair leaderboard without manipulated scores (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The motion sensor is used only if you choose the "Tilt" control or the "Hard" difficulty; it is then needed for the way of playing you chose (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for accessing the sensor, Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Data from the optional beta test is processed by the provider on the basis of his legitimate interest in finding bugs and improving the game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Apart from the Game Center leaderboard (section 4), the beta test (section 7) and emails, the provider receives no data from you. If one of your scores is among the top 100, he will, on request, remove your scores and block further entries from you in the leaderboard. You can also sign out under "Game Center" in Settings; as long as you are signed out, the app sends nothing to Game Center. Your game data exists solely on your device: you can change it in the app and remove it completely by deleting the app. Deleting the app does not remove beta test data. According to Apple, requests to access or delete it go to the provider; he can delete your feedback and remove you as a tester in App Store Connect. As testers who join via the public link appear without a name, please mention the date and content of your feedback or, if you sent none, your device model and the day you installed the app. For questions: support@junevex.app.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Germany.
11. Changes
If the app's data processing changes, this policy will be updated. The version with the date given above applies.
